Ant-Man
: The Marvel superhero made his first appearance in 1962 in Tales to Astonish #27 and was created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby.
Doctor Strange : The Marvel superhero made his first appearance in Strange Tales #110 in 1963 and has been a member of the New Avengers since New Avengers #7 in 2005.
Rocket Raccoon : The evolutionary raccoon was created by Bill Mantlo and Keith Giffen. He made his first appearance in Marvel Preview #7 in 1976 and has been a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy since 2008.

She-Hulk : The cousin of Bruce Banner has been the female form of the Hulk since her first appearance in Savage She-Hulk #1 in 1980. She is also a member of the Avengers.

Hayao Miyazaki : The Japanese anime director, screenwriter, illustrator and mangaka was born in Tokyo in 1941. Together with Isao Takahata, he founded the famous film studio Studio Ghibli in 1985. He received an Oscar for Spirited Away in 2003.
Hergé : The Belgian comic artist was born in 1907 under the name Georges Prosper Remi. His best-known works include the comic series Tintin.

Bane : The supervillain from the DC Universe made his first appearance in 1993 in the one-shot Vengeance of Bane #1.
Mister Mxyzptlk : The DC supervillain was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Superman's enemy made his first appearance in Superman #30 in 1944.
Solomon Grundy : The undead henchman was created by Alfred Bester and Paul Reinman. He made his first appearance in 1944 in All-American Comics #61.

Hägar the Horrible : The comic strip about the Viking Hägar was invented by Dik Browne in 1973.
Lucky Luke : The Belgian comic series was created by Morris in 1946. It is about the adventures of the lonely cowboy Lucky Luke and his horse Jolly Jumper.
Sabretooth : The supervillain from the Marvel Universe was created by Chris Claremont and John Byrne. He made his first appearance in Iron Fist #14 in 1977.

Birds of Prey : The comic series about female DC Comics characters was published from 1999 to 2014. The main characters included Batgirl, Black Canary, Huntress and Big Barda.
Elders of the Universe : The group of supervillains from the Marvel Universe made their first appearance in The Avengers #174. Members of the group are Champion, Collector, Gardener, Grandmaster and Runner.
Umbrella Academy : The group of superheroes from the comic series published by Dark Horse Comics were created by Gerard Way and Garbriel Bá.

Goofy : The comic figure was created by Art Babbitt for Walt Disney. Mickey Mouse's best friend was originally called Dippy Dawg and was renamed Goofy in 1939.
Mouseton : The fictional city is home to the Mickey Mouse characters.
Pete : Mickey Mouse's arch-enemy is based on the character Bootleg Pete from the 1925 short film Alice Solves the Puzzle.

Pluto : Mickey Mouse's dog made his first appearance in a comic strip by Floyd Gottfredson.

Black Canary : The comic character created by Robert Kanigher and Carmine Infantino was originally created as a supporting character in the Flash comics of the 1940s. From the 1960s onwards, the character was part of the Green Arrow and Justice League of America series.
Wonder Woman :
The superheroine from the DC Universe was created by William Moulton Marston. She made her first appearance in All Stars Comic #8 in 1941.

Dick Tracy : The comic strip by Chester Gould first appeared in the Detroit Mirror in 1931. It is about the police inspector of the same name and his fight against crime in Chicago.

Tintin and Snowy : The comic series by Belgian illustrator Hergé was first published in 1929. It tells the story of a young reporter called Tintin, who gets caught up in exciting adventure stories on his travels with his fox terrier Snowy.

Attack on Titan : The manga series was created by Japanese mangaka Hajime Isayama. It is about Eren Jäger, who, together with his adopted sister Mikasa and his best friend Armin, has declared war on the titans that threaten humanity.
Doraemon : The manga series by Japanese mangaka duo Fujiko Fujio is about the robot Doraemon, who is sent from the 22nd century to the present day.
Hunter X Hunter : The manga series by Japanese mangaka Yoshihiro Togashi is about the orphan Gon Freeks. When he learns that his father is still alive, he decides to become a so-called Hunter in order to find him.

Doctor Octopus : The supervillain from the Marvel Universe was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. He made his first appearance in 1963 in The Amazing Spiderman #3.
Hobgoblin : The supervillain from the Marvel Universe was created by Roger Stern and John Romita Jr. He made his first appearance in 1983 in The Amazing Spiderman #238.

Walhalla : The female character from the Asterix comics makes her first appearance in Asterix the Legionary from 1966. Before Obelix finds out that she is engaged to Tragicomix, he falls madly in love with her.
Dogmatix : Obelix's dog makes his first appearance in Tour de France from 1963.
Magic Potion : The potion of the druid Getafix gives supernatural powers for a limited time. In the case of Obelix, who fell into a cauldron full of magic potion as a child, the effect lasts a lifetime.

Fiona Staples : The Canadian comic artist was involved in the comics DV8: Gods and Monsters, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents, Archie and Saga, among others.
Garfield : The comic strip by Jim Davis first appeared in 1978. The comics are about the lazy, lasagna-loving cat Garfield, the lovable dog Odie and their clumsy owner Jon Arbuckle.
Marsupilami : The yellow and black fantasy creature created by André Franquin originally came from the 1952 comic series Spirou and Fantasio.

John Constantine
: The magician from the DC Universe made his first appearance in 1988 in the comic series Hellblazer by Jamie Delano and John Ridgway.

Jonah Hex : The DC comic series was first published in 1972 under the title Welcome to Paradise. It is about the adventures of the gunslinger and womanizer of the same name.

A Contract with God : The graphic novel by illustrator Will Eisner was published in 1978.
Maus : The graphic novel series by Art Spiegelmann was published from 1980 to 1991 and was the first graphic novel to be awarded a Pulitzer Prize in 1992.

The Katzenjammer Kids : The comic strips inspired by Max and Moritz were created by Rudolph Dirks in 1897 and drawn by Harold Knerr from 1914 onwards.
The Yellow Kid : The comic strips were created by Richard F. Outcault. They appeared in the New York World from 1895 and are considered the first modern comics.

Doom Patrol : Members of the superhero group from the DC universe include the characters Elasti-Woman, Negative Man, Robotman and Beast Boy.
The Avengers : The Marvel superhero team led by Nick Fury consists of Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hulk, Loki, Hawkeye and Thor.

Charlie Brown : The main character of the comic strips The Peanuts by US-American cartoonist Charles M. Schulz. The strips were first published in 1947 under the name Li'l Folks. Charles M. Schulz died one day before the last strip was published in 2000.
Snoopy : The beagle is Charlie Brown's dog. He usually lies on the roof of his doghouse and pursues philosophical thoughts.

Woodstock : The little yellow bird is Snoopy's best friend.

Venom : The Marvel supervillain was created by David Michelinie and Todd McFarlane. He made his first appearance in Amazing Spider-Man #300 in 1988.

Star Lord : Peter Jason Quill is the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He is the son of the human woman Meredith Quill and the Celestial Ego. Created by Steve Englehart and Steve Gan, he made his first appearance in Marvel Preview #4 in 1976.

Fix and Foxi : The two foxes are the main characters of the German comic magazine by Rolf Kauka. It was published from 1953 to 2010.
Loki : The comic book character from the Marvel Universe was created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby. He made his first appearance in 1962 in Journey into Mystery.
Slam Dunk : The sports manga by mangaka Takehiko Inoue was published in 31 volumes from 1990 to 1996.

Harvey Kurtzmann : The US-American illustrator was born in 1924. He was best known for his work on the comic Mad and the comic strips Little Annie Fanny in Playboy.

Scrooge McDuck : The comic duck from the Disney universe was created by Carl Banks in 1947.
Gyro Gearloose : The inventor from Duckburg was also created by Carl Banks. His character is based on a figure from the 1937 animated cartoon Interior Decorators.
